Time
Right now class will be from 5:00- 6:15 every Sunday beginning in February. As the school grows we will offer more times during the week. When spring comes and we finally thaw out, we will have extra class times outside at local public parks. Try to come a few minutes early to get ready for class, so that we have the full time to train.

Location
Class will be held at the Shobu Aikido dojo in Union Square. This is a beautiful space that will be a great place to train. Here is a link to the directions: www.shobu.org/directions.php

Private Lessons
Private and small group lessons are available at $20 per person for an hour and a half. Normally these lessons will be held at the instructors house or at a public park.

Cost
The more that you can give back the more that you will receive. Times are very tough for people right now and I decided to use this class as an opportunity to help support people in need. Therefore all profits will be donated to a local homeless shelter. The recommended donation per class is 10 to 15 dollars, however if you cannot afford this then anything that you can give will be appreciated. I personally will donate 10 dollars per class to keep the school running and support the Boston Rescue Mission.

Equipment
Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing that you will not mind sweating in. I have Arnis sticks for sale that I bought at different places, and I will be selling these sticks for the same price that I paid for them, but feel free to bring your own sticks. The sticks I have range from 15 dollars a pair to 26 dollars a pair. It is also recommended that you buy a pair of protective gloves, because it is very easy to get caught in the hand with a stick, no matter what skill level you are.

ContactI am more than happy to chat about Arnis and tell you anything that you want to know about the art, history and training of Arnis.
